It is standard in the industry for non union talent to pay a registration fee.  Our  fee is $75.00 plus HST ($84.75).  This is a yearly, non refundable fee and is required at the time of registration.

*Union performers DO NOT pay a registration fee.

Please make the Commission Cheques payable to TORONTO FILM EXTRAS

• FULL ACTRA:  10% commission for regular background performances, 15% commission for commercials, upgrades, etc..20% for print.
• ACTRA APPRENTICE MEMBERS:  15% commission for regular background, including commercials, upgrades etc. 20% for print for all.
• NON UNION PERFORMERS:  10% commission for regular background work, 15% commission for commercials, music video’s, upgrades, vouchers and 20% for Print.
• All commissions must include 13% HST!
• All Non Union Performer’s cheques must be mailed to the Agency.
• If you are an ACTRA performer It is imperative when mailing in your commissions that you include the top portion of your pay stub with your payment.  This way we know what film you are paying for.
• There will be a $25.00 charge on all NSF cheques.
• The rate is $11.25 per hour with an 8 hour minimum for non union Performers (what that means is that if you only work 2 hours, you are still always paid for 8 hours).  Union rates apply for ACTRA members.
